Join Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as a Commissioned Officer in the Medical Branch (136 Combat Support Course)
Pakistan Air Force has opened online registration for highly qualified medical professionals to join as commissioned officers under two categories: Medical Branch (Specialist) SPSSC and Medical Branch (GDMOs) SPSSC. Both male and female Pakistani citizens are invited to apply.

Medical Branch (Specialist) – SPSSC

Rank: Squadron Leader

Age Limit: 25 – 35 years (as on 15 April 2026)

Training Period: 24 weeks at PAF Academy Risalpur

Nationality: Male/Female citizens of Pakistan

Required Qualifications:

Applicant must hold specialization from a Pakistani Government-approved medical university recognized by PMDC/PMC, or a foreign medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.

Eligible Specialties:

• Medical Specialist: FCPS / MRCP / FRCP / Diplomat American Board
• ENT Specialist: FCPS / FRCS (ENT) / FRCS (ENT) / Diplomat American Board
• Eye Specialist: FCPS / FRCS (Ophth) / Diplomat American Board
• Psychiatrist: FCPS / MRCP / Diplomat American Board
• Anesthetist: FCPS / FRCA / Diplomat American Board
• Radiologist: FCPS / MRCR / FRCR / Diplomat American Board
• Neuro Surgeon: FCPS / FRCS / MRCS / Diplomat American Board
• Orthopedic Specialist: FCPS / FRCS (Ortho) / FRCP (Ortho) / Diplomat American Board

Note: Candidates who have recently cleared FCPS Part-II after 1 December 2024 can apply.

2. Medical Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC

Rank: Flight Lieutenant

Age Limit: 25 – 35 years (as on 15 April 2026)

Training Period: 24 weeks at PAF Academy Risalpur

Qualification:

• MBBS with minimum 2nd Division or equivalent
• Degree must be registered with PMDC/PMC
• One-year house job completed
• Preference for candidates having relevant work experience after house job

Selection Procedure

1. Intelligence & Academic Test (for I & Sc subjects)
2. Initial Medical & Physical Test at PAF I&S Centers
3. Psychological Test
4. Interview by AHQ Selection Board (Rawalpindi / Lahore / Karachi)
5. Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore
6. Final Selection by Air Headquarters

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be Pakistani nationals (Male/Female)
• Hold a valid NADRA Smart Card
• Meet educational requirements listed above
• Meet medical & physical fitness standards of PAF

Ineligibility Conditions

Candidates are not eligible if they:

• Are rejected two times by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ
• Are twice screened out at ISSB
• Have been dismissed or removed from government service
• Have been convicted in a court of law
• Have withdrawn/resigned from Armed Forces training institutions
• Have Hepatitis B/C
• Have been previously declared unfit by AMB
• Are bonded to any institution unless bond is cleared
• Are declared unfit by any Armed Forces hospital
